CD cover- Nickelback
I particular like this artwork because the background adds intensity with its flowing airbrushed tecnhique which would if not be a very dull and less dramatic shot than its final product.
It seems as though the piece is in motion and once your gaze hits the work ur feel entranced and compelled to discover what the artist has done to leave you with the feeling.

I have taken photographs of buildings aswell as other areas of huddersfield. Hoping to find a direction for where my work can lead onto. With these images from this artist i have found how simple but effective the alteration in this image can be produced. He has taken this photo and turned it into a refined art piece.
I hope to produce work at a standard not to different to this except hopefully with my own ideas emanating around the centred theme.

John White
I came accross this image in Januarys GQ magazine issue as it highlights my intentions for my work. The manufactured with the original , not knowing to distinguish between them both because we are no longer able to recognise the differences in a media world. Only leaves me thinking what the original figure had looked like before the retouched version. But i can appreciate good advertisements as this is where i get my inspiration to take photographs and produce my own work relevant to myself.

This shows a product going back to conventional means to sell a product. But it is effective and does draw attention. I was reading GQ magazine as this caught my gaze. This would grab anyones attention and therefore the interest in the product.
The figure has been retouched and has been positioned to highlight the shoe centred in the piece. Effective advertsing using simplistic techniques. Whereas with berluti, here we see the raw image of the shoe along with the figure almost states the need to show the thought of nothing to hide and original without fault.
This advert for 'berluti' shows this immersion of the real and produced in that in this particular unlike previous pieces we see the artistic figure having the connection to the briefcase. Even more illustrating the thought of rarity to the product which can only effectively have this feel within a artistic setting without losing the real products appeal, only adding consumer attention to the refined piece.
Berluti
This shows an artistic background with a airbrushed briefcase in the foreground. Similar to a piece I completed, its illustrating a view, a connection from the art- to real. almost immersing them both which gives the overall piece a original outlook. the sense that a person from that period of artistic era would want a 'berluti' product which brings a genuine and rare feel.
